Folsom Magazine
Freelance Publication Design
For this freelance project, I was tasked by the Greater Folsom Partnership to organize and design their 75th Anniversary Edition Folsom Magazine publication. A high-end annual magazine that celebrates the culture and community of Folsom.
The objective was to design a 68 page magazine from the ground up, with the exception of 12 interior pages (pg. 29-40) which were a pre-existing resource guide that the Greater Folsom Partnership wanted inserted. As the only designer tasked to this project it was also my responsibility to work with the client to ensure that all images and copy were secured on a reasonable timeline while adhering to strict print deadlines.
Design
Folsom's natural beauty and community inspired the clean and sophisticated magazine layout. A clear font with ample leading prevents eye strain and compliments the stunning Folsom images. Bursts of color add contrast and character for a cohesive visual system.

Infographic Design
The infographic shown here was a custom design made to support an otherwise disorganized collection of facts. The illustration is designed to be reminiscent of the famous Rainbow Bridge located in the center of folsom.
